The Connecticut River in Longmeadow is subject to change in level at
any time during the season.  Under some circumstances, the river can
rise 15 feet or more within 24 to 48 hours.  Please note that the dock
committee monitors the river level and if it should rise to the "action
level"  (to the white strap on the South Docks)  everyone will be
notified by e-mail to remove your boat from the river.  Removal of your
boat in response to this warning is your responsibility.  If this warning
is given, it means immediate action.  At these times, the boat ramp
may be closed for launching.
